What is SMUOI?

SMUOI is both an interface for managing remote data and an application framework for building further integrated interfaces. It is intended to fill the operating system gap between content creators and web developers and their host computer - whilst prioritising efficiency, scalability and high coding standards which make it a far more elegant and deployable real-world solution than any single-purpose Content Management System.

Currently, SMUOI is written for PHP 5.2.9 and runs on any POSIX compliant host.

It was developed in 2008 and 2009 by Clancy Hood and is maintained by the Smuoi Project.
